Potato Salad

Just like mom used to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 5 potatoes
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions
 

  • Get a big pot of salted water boiling. Add in the potatoes and let them cook until they're tender, yet still firm, about 15 minutes. Drain them out, let them cool, then peel and chop.
  • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring that water to a boil, put the cover on, and take it off the heat. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for 10 to 12 minutes. Take them out of the water, let them cool, then peel and chop.
  • In a big bowl, combine the potatoes, eggs, and all remaining ingredients. Mix the whole thing together well and leave it in the fridge until it's chilled.
