Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 8 ounce can jellied cranberry sauce
- 3/4 cup chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
Instructions
-
Turn the oven up to 350.
-
In a big bowl, mix up the beef, egg, water, bread crumbs, and minced onion. Roll that beefy mixture into small meatballs.
-
Bake the balls in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, turning them over midway through.
-
In a slow cooker, blend together the cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Add in the meatballs, and let everything simmer for an hour.
-
For serving, you can leave everything in the pot, and place spoons next to it to grab meatballs. If you want something a little fancier, place individual balls into spoons with a small dollop of sauce on each.
